1. Is my wheelchair delivered assembled?
Your wheelchair will arrive almost ready to use. Upon delivery you will only need to attach a few remaining parts.
2. Can I take my wheelchair on an airplane or cruise?
Yes you can. The 12AH (288WH) lithium ion battery meets the travel requirements of airlines and cruise companies. Before your trip it's advisable to contact your airline or cruise provider for regulations regarding travel, with batteries.
3. What do I do if my battery runs out of charge?
You can manually push the 6011 wheelchair in situations. Turn off the power. Disengage the brake by moving the levers to the position allowing your wheelchair to function as a manual one.
4. How can I stop the beeping sound when reversing my wheelchair?
To silence the beeping noise increase your speed by pressing the (+) key until reaching speed then hold it down until an amber light appears on the display screen. Quickly press the horn button to stop the beeping sound. Repeat these steps if you wish to restore the beeping feature.
5. Do the armrests have a raising function?
No lifting capability is available for armrests, on this model.
6. How should I charge my battery?
The lithium ion battery can be recharged using the joystick controller. It takes 6 8 hours to charge a battery but less time if the battery is not completely drained. Once the battery is fully charged, disconnect the charger from both the battery and the power outlet.
7. Is it possible to place my controller on either side of the wheelchair?
